The Excellence Scholarship Award was a partnership between the Newmont Ahafo Development Foundation (NADeF) and ESG Petroleum. Designed to inspire exceptional undergraduate Business students, the scholarship encompassed coverage for academic tuition fees, accommodation, stipends, and book allowances. Recipients were selected through a thorough review process, evaluating applications from outstanding hailing from Newmont’s host communities. Eligible candidates, attending various tertiary institutions, demonstrated remarkable academic achievement with Grade Point Averages (GPAs) of first and second class upper divisions.
In 2020, ESG made donations to the Tarkwa Municipal and Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospitals as part of efforts toward combatting and containing the COVID-19 pandemic. This was done in a bid to shore up reserves of crucial personal protective equipment (PPE) and other essential supplies. Both donations were valued at a sum of a GH¢100,000.
ESG Services sources, imports and distributes high quality, refined petroleum products, primarily automotive Gasoil and Gasoline 91, to International and our local markets. We aim to provide the most competitive offer to clients by continually improving our supply chain. ESG Oil Services is the Bulk Distribution Company (BDC) affiliated to International Petroleum. We are an indigenous Ghanaian BDC, also licensed by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).
